As musicians we love to share our music and experiences with our audiences and professionals in the music industry. We love it when you approach us after a concert, send us an email or contact us at any of our social media channels. But every conversation has to start somewhere. With a sound, a single note or just simply “hello”. Live and online. To start conversations and engage with our friends and fans online we use our website, newsletters and social media. Any personal information we collect is used only to inform you about TEMKO the best way we can. We care about your privacy, so here is some information on how we keep it secure and any third party services we use.
We prefer our website as plain, simple and accessible possible to inform you on our activities, so we do not see the need to collect any cookies. To make sure everyone will find us online, we use Google Analytics which collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We use this tool to evaluate our website’s visibility in search engines and the quality of various parts of the website. All information collected by Google Analytics is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. If you have any suggestions to improve the website, please contact us.
Our website features links to some social media channels to connect with you through our music and videos:
Buying a cd in person is surely the best way to go. No data will be collected, you’ll meet us or a lovely merchandise lady and we can even sign your copy if you like.
If you want to buy a physical copy online, you can also send us an email and choose whatever information you wish to share and how you want to pay.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will only use your personal information for personalized and customized TEMKO mailings when we have news to share and we think you might be interested. We may contact you every now and then to check that you’re still interested and satisfied.
For the registration process and delivering our newsletters we use a third-party provider, MailChimp. This also allows us to gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us evaluate and improve our newsletters and report to funding institutions. For more information how MailChimp collects and uses data, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to our mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails or MailChimp’s privacy notice.
When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) for any of our concerts at any venue, some data will be stored in Box Office systems used by these organisations. You should check the concerning venues’ privacy statements if you wish to know which information is collected and what it is used for. Please note, that there should always be a possibility to purchase a ticket (or tickets) in person without supplying personal information.
As a publicly funded ensemble we may ask venues to share anonymised personal information with us, which we may use to report to funding institutions, particularly art councils. As a part of these funding agreements, we need to analyse our audience development programmes, ticket sales and self-generated funding to give account for the public investment made in TEMKO.
We will happily give you an insight in the personal information we hold on you at your request, which you can amend, or delete. You can send us a request for this at any time.
We keep our privacy notice under regular review. This privacy notice was last updated on 24 May 2018.
